For warranty purposes, you are covered by the consumer rights act 2015. Which we strictly adhere to. The act states that a vehicle must be of a satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. To be of satisfactory quality, a car must not be faulty or broken when purchased.
For compliance, before advertising, our cars undergo a pre sales check with relevant servicing incorporating multi-point inspection of over 170 individual components.
We know our cars are merchantable, serviceable and safe.
Our checks are similar to an MOT with more detail. We comprehensively check the steering, suspension, lights, exhaust, brakes and tyres right down to recording the tyre size, pressure, tread depth, we even check that there is a locking wheel nut and record where it is.
We check wiper blades, fluid levels inc screenwash, wheel bearings, brake disc-pad
wear, shockabsorbers, road springs, suspension struts and other components.
The engine is fully checked for levels, performance, wear and that all sensors are working.
The gearbox is fully checked for performance, gear selection and general function.
All management and warning lights are confirmed serviceable, media systems, headlamps, general lighting, locking mechanisms, electric windows, seat belts and a whole lot more are all inspected, so you will not find any nasty suprises.
Our pre-sale checks are comprehensive and can be relied upon. Depending on the age and
mileage of a car, we offer up to 90 days warranty from purchase to cover major
mechanical failures on components including the engine, gearbox, driveshafts, differentials and turbo chargers.
We offer 28 days or 200 miles whichever comes first, for you to test
drive a car bought from us, to agree with our pre sales inspection.
If you find the inspection did not reflect the car at the time of
sale, we will fix the issue for free.
We have very few after-sales issues,
this is due to the type of cars we stock, the servicing they have
received throughout their use and our thorough inspections prior to
sale.
